Getting or replacing your PVC

  1. Start with INEC’s official voter-services portal and check whether the relevant service is currently open.
  2. Follow its application and in-person verification instructions. A form on this site cannot register you.
  3. Confirm collection dates and the designated location with the INEC office serving your registration area.
  4. If your card is lost, damaged or you have moved, ask INEC about replacement or transfer and its deadlines.

Check the official portal and your local INEC office for service availability, collection locations and deadlines. Registration, transfer and PVC collection have different requirements.

Protect your choice peacefully

  • Bring your physical PVC to your registered polling unit and follow INEC’s accreditation instructions.
  • Vote in secret. Resist vote buying, coercion and intimidation.
  • Follow lawful observer and counting rules. Preserve evidence safely without confronting people or disrupting voting.
  • Use INEC and the appropriate authorities for complaints. Published results and certified outcomes are different stages.
